Wild Bill’s Cigar of the Week
The Wild Bill’s team decided to feature something a little different this week. Something special from Nub Cigars, which are a creation of the famed Oliva Cigar Company. The Nub Cameroon 460, a short, fat Robusto/Gordo that packs flavor is the Cigar of the week!
The Nub Cameroon 460 is unique in many ways, but the two that stand out are its size and wrapper. As a Short Robusto, it’s four inches in length isn’t out of the norm, but the 60 ring gauge sure is. The Cameroon name in the cigar comes from the type of wrapper used, which is imported from Africa. Both of these factors or just pieces in what makes the Nub Cameroon 460 such a great cigar.

The backstory on the Nub brand is quite interesting in itself. Made by Oliva Cigars, Nub Cigars started out as a cigar maker’s dream. The dream that they could create a cigar the could provide the “sweet spot” of flavor from the time it was lit to the time it is finished. That dream was achieved when they cut the length and expanded the ring gauge creating the Nub Cigar.
The Nub Cameroon 460 is a darker wrapper with a leathery touch. It might be easy to think because of the short and fat size they would burn different. That’s the exact opposite as the Nub Cameroon 460 burns just as long with immense flavor from start to finish.
The Nub Cameroon 460 is a medium to full body cigar with a smooth complex flavor profile. The Cameroon wrapper provides a sweet, earthy flavor with an intriguing spice. The Nicaragua fillers compliment that wrapper with an earthy and coffee flavor.
