The Montecristo Platinum line has become one of the most popular line extensions from Montecristo. That says a lot coming from a cigar company who had their brand born in Cuba in 1935. The name Montecristo came from the story “The Count of Montecristo”, which was told to the cigar rollers while they worked int he factories.
If you have smoked a Montecristo before you will appreciate the taste of the Platinum Series. There is a fuller body taste that comes from the delightful blend of three different tobaccos. Combine that with the Mexican binder and San Andres Cubano Habano wrapper and you have a cigar that stands by the Montecristo line.
