The Drew Estate – Liga Privada Unico Serie Dirty Rat is the Cigar of the Week. The Liga Privada is an extremely rare line from the Drew Estate portfolio. The Dirty Rat was the first unique cigar to be released under the Liga Privada Unico Serie line. This is cigar has an intense and particular taste that will remind you why Drew Estate is the powerhouse they are!
Liga Privada Único Serie Dirty Rat
Many cigar smokers might mistake the Drew Estate Liga Privada Unico line with their No. 9 or T52 lines. That is not the case, as the Liga Privada Unico are branded as “unique” blends.
The Dirty Rat is a thick 5-inch by 44 ring gauge corona that has a fan-twist finished head. It is made with a Connecticut Sungrown Habana, which is the same wrapper used on the Liga Privada T52. That is just about the only similarity between the two. The Dirty Rat features an entirely different blend with a spicier and peppery blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos.
It was feared Drew Estate would make the Dirty Rat a limited release, but since it’s the first production the there has been a demand for them. The unique corona that packs a medium to full bodied smoke has an 89-rating from Cigar Aficionado.
